Cooper Timber Harvesting, Inc has been in business since 1978. It is a reputable family
owned business owned and operated by Wayne R & Essie Cooper & son Jason. CTH will
pay top money for your timber and treat your land with respect. Many times in the timber
business, landowners are treated unfairly, not so with Cooper Timber. We maintain close
contact with the land owner to ensure their satisfaction with our operations. No job to
large or small. We are located in DeSoto County, but will consider timber jobs within a
150 mile radius of DeSoto.

Melaleuca, Cypress, Eucalyptus, and Pine.
CTH is equipped with two ten wheeler's, mounted with knuckle boom loaders for free*
construction-site tree pickup. *Minimum required.
CTH began our mulcher-grinder operation in early 2006. This M726 TigerCat 300hp, with
Bull Hog Fecon 250 mulching head machine is available to travel throughout FL, GA, AL,
SC. This machine can be put to work after all merchantable timber is removed, mulching
all the leftover debris from the harvesting job. Or it can stand alone, mulching almost
anything in it's path. Job references, photos, as well as character references can be
furnished upon request.
Wayne R. Cooper is a member of The Florida Forestry Association and holds the Master
Logger Plus Certification. In 2005 he was chosen Logger of the year for District 5 by the
FFA. In 2006 he was chosen FFA
Logger of the year. He is also a member of the Southeastern Wood Producers Association
and was chosen 2006 Logger of the year for the Florida Division. Wayne was grand
marshal for the Florida Forest Festival King Tree Parade in Perry, Fl. In October 2006. In
2007 he was 1st runner up for Logger of the Year for the regional title. He is a devout
Christian, and a clergy at the local nursing home and hospital.
CTH is substantially covered by General and Auto Liability, and Workers Compensation
Insurance. Certificates issued with contract.
